but the file is small and can easily be emailed even with dialup it seems that this program doesnt handle many of the new discs out there for example the little hosue on the prairie season 9 just will not roll it will sit and do nothing, show errors, etc i went to one click copy, its $40 if you download it it works pretty well also allows you to pull one or two eps off of a disc runs in about 45 minutes if you have two drives one click and its all automatic it has a built in copy protection defeat feature, no need to download anything else and the program is legal, its not some shady deal there are numerous web sites that rate these programs, and this one was consistantly at the top, or very near the top of the list |

If so are you sure the DVD is finalized? What errors are you getting? One of the best programs I have found to work is CloneDVD2 it will do everything you need. Combine it with AnyDVD and you can do back-up of commercial disk just by putting the original disk in one drive and blank in the other, a few clicks and you are on your way. As a last resort, Smart Ripper is one I use if all else fails. It usually will rip a disk when others will not. Also you may want to try the disk in another drive, I have several NEC's and one Pioneer and sometimes a disk may not work in one drive but can be read in another. Is the disk clean and scratch free? |

If you ever want to make a copy of a commercial DVD, DVD shrink with anyDVD running will make a copy of any retail disc out there. I have never had one disc I could not copy but DVD shrink by itself has problems with lots of newer release titles. |
