I started this thread in the Games forum, but it didn't really take off, so I thought I'd try it here. While technically a game, it's not like the games that appear in the Games forum, and I think it could belong here...

Anyway, a poster takes the identity of a character from either a book, a movie or a TV show and posts details about that character, and from those details, the other posters have to deduce who that character is. (Note: if the character is from a movie or a TV show, then preferably, the name of the character should be given, rather than the name of the actor.) Anyway, the person who guesses the character correctly then does the same, and the person who guesses that character correctly does the same, and so on...

I'll start...

I am male and the youngest in my family. I was once accidentally left behind when my whole family took a holiday together, and I had to save my house from being robbed. The next time we all tried to take a trip together, I got on a plane to New York by mistake and had an unfortunate run-in with the same two criminals.

Who am I?

(smiles apologetically)...but the object of the game is to take on the identity of fictional characters, not real people.

I am a single girl living alone in New York City. I have a steady boyfriend who never spends the night.. My father is over -protective. I have an extensive wardrobe. Which is a mystery since I rarely have a steady job.
