I finished writing the book for the stage musical I've be developing for awhile. It took me months to think of the plot, structure and character developement and about a month to come up with lyrics. Of course it needs some additions and revisions, but all writing always needs that. I'm just glad I am finished with the bulk of it.

The next step is for me to find a composer to collaborate with on the music and then then probably find a producer to do it at a community theater.

Ah, that's great. Good luck! I'm not a professional writer or anything, but back when I wasn't too lazy to write, it was always an awesome feeling to finish something and go back and read it.

It's about a House of Parliament. I got the idea from watching the British House of Commons on CSPAN and reading about Parliaments in the Carribean. It deals mostly with what happens behind closed doors and the personal struggles and infighting that go on, but also the public aspect.
