I posted this at the TV Land Munster board, but I'm surprised that TV Land shows the episode "Heap Big Herman", when he comes running down the train and yelling "I'll kill 'em I'll kill 'em I'll kill 'em!..." Considering how they are with "Herman's Peace Offensive", I'm surprised. Any thoughts?

I think TVLand goes overboard, these classic shows should be shown as they were meant to be and that's uncut. I hate when they edit shows, I'm starting not to watch TVLand as much as I once did.

I was watching "Herman's Peace Offensive" today and a thought occured to me. Maybe it wasn't Eddie and Herman talking about killing anyone "I'll Kill Him, I'll Kill Him, I'll Kill Him!" but rather the scene where Clyde, the prankster poured water on the floor and hooked up Herman's locker to the lightbulb, thus electrocuting him. It sounds strange, but TV Land had to have a reason for not showing the episode. Maybe they were afraid kids would try to do that, lol. That's my guess as to why they don't show the episode. Though I think any reason for banning an episode from TV Land is a stupid reason.

When I heard that TVLand actually BANNED an episode of The Munsters I couldn't believe it! It's not like they only show cute, children's programs on that channel--there are a lot of dramas with violent scenes. Why don't they drop Gunsmoke? Everybody's always shooting each other on that show; aren't they worried that kids will pick that up, too?
