What are your thoughts on the almost-totally different TV Land schedule? I like it.
Strong Points: -More airtime for 50s/60s sitcoms -Green Acres, The Munsters, and Leave it to Beaver at better times -Less hour-long shows -Less exposure for "Good Times" -"What's Happening!!" and "Cheers" pulled from prime time "All in the Family" added to prime time again Weak Points: -Bewitched and Jeannie gone -Wings still on the lineup -I Love Lucy still limited to mornings -One airing only for Benson What about you? What do you think? |

I didn't know they're changing their schedule. When does the new one start?

I kind of like the new evening lineup better than I have lately.
Having Green Acres, The Munsters, Leave it to Beaver and Andy Griffith from 6:00 to 8:00 is a nice early evening line up. They're running the older episodes of Little House right now, I liked them a lot better than the later episodes. I got to like Andy Griffith again during the recent marathon...but I hate that they only have one new episode per day... it appears that the episode shown at 9:00 one night is repeated at 7:30 the next night... that's ridiculous... there's no shortage of A.Griffigh episodes available to run two new eps per day. But I guess that beats what the do with shows like Good Times, they'll run them back to back and then run the same two eps back to back three hours later... I never liked Sanford and Son, and only like some early episodes of Good Times... but overall, I think this new evening line up is an improvement over what they've been showing. Plus, we'll soon have all these shows complete on DVD anyway, then it won't matter what TV Land does.... let 'em run their stupid "Top 10" or "Living in TV Land" shows all they want... |

I wish that that things had remained the same. I am a very busy person on the go. I have to adjust to this new schedule. It kinda sucks but I will adjust.

I Hate it. I am sick of Green Acres, Good Times ( its horrible). But seriously I rather watch Green Acres an AITF, then Good Times. I miss the classic stuff like Get Smart, I love Lucy, Bewitched, Jeannie, those are more popular so they show aire those more. They should also bring back the Facts of Life, Mr. Ed, Petticoat Junction, etc....
