Are any of you soap fans going to be watching the two new shows on the new television netwok MNT (abbreviated) Desires, and Secrets Obsessions?

Same here. I haven't heard of My Network TV. I think its the same like you, Independent Channel.

be WUPL 54

We are getting it in Hawaii. I have no opinion of it since I know nothing about the channel.

We still haven't gotten clearance for CW so that one worries me.

I think it starts in Fall. It's going to replace the UPN network, while the new CW network (Which combines the UPN and WB) will be on the WB station.

Starting September 5 WUPL TV will become WUPL My 54 and Starting Monday, September 18, 2006 WNOL TV Will become WNOL CW 38

...is a consortium of those stations owned and/or controlled by Fox Television
Group that are no longer a part of the (soon-to-be) old "UPN" network. Their on-air i.d.'s will have "My" in them {as in "My9", WWOR-TV, New York}, and they'll carry the two hours of American "telenovelas" Monday through Saturday from 8-10pm [with recaps on Saturday night]. Whether THIS is what "My Network TV" will be known for is too early to tell.......

I just plan on watching The Syndicaton Show's on WUPL MY 54
no Prime Time Programming.
