I was sitting around reading old posts and I came across one about a man who killed his dog and then himself. Then a man moved into the dead mans house, and one day he went for a walk into the forrest and dissapeared. When police were looking for clues, it turned out that the man was writing a book before he dissapeared. The last line that the man wrote was " a man walked into the forrest". I am getting chills just typing it. Can anyone help me with this one? I am very curious.

However, if my memory is correct, the case was in Colorado. So the best hope might be to contact a law enforcement department in Colorado that handled the case, or is at least familiar enough with the case to know if there have been any updates on Keith's disappearance. |

I wonder if it was foul play and if both their disappearences had something to do with the space they rented/shared at different times on Main Street in Silver Plum. Did they uncover some covert information that they were not supposed to uncover? The first guy (Tom Young I think was his name, but I'm not to sure) had a book shop and was found with his dog on the Mountain outside of town and Keith Reinhardt had an Antique shop. Very bizarre case, indeed. |

Or maybe they were both weirdos who went walking up into the mountains ill prepared. The segment seemed to offer that point of view as well.

You could be right, RightOnDude, the segment did mention that Keith Reinhard went into the forest pretty late in the day - so late that it was highly unlikely he could complete the hike before nightfall. Maybe he had no intention of coming back. A bizarre case indeed.
