Last night my wife and I and some friends went out and saw the Unknown Comic (Murray Langston) from the Gong Show. (Remember the guy with the bag over his head)? I got to talk to him and remembered Scatman had been on the show. I asked him about Scatman and he said he had met Scatman, Freddie, and Jack and said they were the nicest people. He said he had had drinks together with them. Of course, the Gong Show was done at NBC....he also mentioned that although Freddie was great, he had a problem with drugs, but he had the warmest thaughts of the three. They were some of the greatest ever. Nice guy abnd funny, The Unknown Comic, although kind of raunchy......

I may be showing my age, but I remember the unknown comic! ("Hey, Chucky-baby!!"
) The Gong show was one of my favorite shows back then..I liked the way Chuck would wear all of those hats sometimes covering his eyes (I always assumed to hide red eyes from too much partying??) I remember seeing Jack Albertson on the Gong show...(If I remember right, he messed up and "gonged" a contestant too quickly!)
