Hi everyone! According to a new issue of the Globe, (Yeah I know, I'm guilty of reading some low brow papers every once in a while) a man accused of killing Jill Behrman has been captured.
Jill, for those who have forgotten, was a 19 year old coed from Indiana who went for a bike ride in May of 2000. Her bike was later found on the side of the road 10 miles from her house but Jill never returned home. Indicted for the crime is a a guy named Robert Myers II. His trial is scheduled for September. Myers apprently did not know Jill and the police are saying this is a case of an innocent person being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The circumstances for the crime were as follows: after an argument with his girlfriend, Myers spotted Jill riding her bike then proceeded to rape then kill her. Bones found in a field 20 miles from a town called Salt Creek were found in 2003 and dental records confirmed they were Jill's. The fact she has been found dead is not a suprise to me, she has been missing for a long time and didn't seem like the type to just take off. But, its always sad to hear about these types of endings. Anyway, rest in peace Jill. The CBer |

Yes, I heard about Behrman being found. It is sad, you hope that they will be found alive but when someone is missing for that long you have to assume the worst. Wow that is quite the change in events. I remember hearing about how they thought three people were involved. I cant remember if it was one man and two women or one woman and two men. I think one of them claimed they were involved in it but apperantly this wasnt the case?

I didnt know three people were allegedly involved in her disappearance. The only update I know about is the one I quoted, which could be inaccurate since it came from The Globe, a National Enquirer type paper.
If you have any links to share I would like to see them. The Cber |

Okay, sorry, I had heard that someone had confessed to doing it but as it turns out didnt. Here is the link to the story. The three that were supposedly involved sound like total sleazes. Two out of the three of them had done time in the Indiana State Prison system and one of them currently is in state prison and is due to be released in July. Here is the link.
