Cool Natalie Sighting

I was doing a search on silent film star Harold Lloyd and quite unexpectedly found a pic with Natalie in the background. She is credited by name in the caption. The pic is from the "Old Gold Comedy Theatre" radio show in 1945. Just thought you guys might find it interesting.

It's amazing that her overall appearence remained the same even into her 90's.

abt 8 years later is when she appeared on I Love Lucy in the charm school episode. She was indeed a very sophisticated, lovely lady during that time.

On the Late Show reunion from 1988 you can't even tell she is about to hit 90 years old. I mean she doesn't look like she is in her 30's by any means but she looks great for 88.

You could tell me that Natalie could have been the queen of england and i would believe you, she was a very sohphisticated woman and had a lovable kindness about her, i believe if they were to make a Gilligan movie that natalies character would be the most difficult to cast because she was so unique. and yet she never got the credit she was due for her wonderful acting.

As I understand it, she arranged to have her date of birth divulged in her obituary so that when she died, people would say, "She was that old?"
