Default Mike went curly in Hawaii

I think this was definitely when Mike started to wear his hair curly.

In the opening scene where he comes home from work to announce the trip the Hawaii, his hair is still straight. But on the beach scene his hair was totally curly.

Guys,

Barry talks about this in his Growing Up Brady book. He says that Robert never really memtioned anything in public about this but friends of his came up with different theries:

One was that when the Bradys got to Hawaii, it was so humid that Robert's hair curled up and stayed that way.

Another was that his hair stylist permed his hair.

Another was that Bob made the changes himself.

This is a Brady Mystery that no one knows for sure what the answer is!

It is now known as a side note that neither Barry or Chris permed their hair as was rumored in the later seasons. Barry says that his hair got so unmanageable around the later part of Season 3 that he tried different treatments and they all failed, so he just gave up and let it change. Christopher looked so different in between Season's four and five, but this was due to puberty and nothing else. Bobby's hair/appearence seemed to change the least for the guys as they grew older.

Bobby's hair did start to get orange towards the end. He was, after all, the guy who sold Greg that hair tonic that turned his hair orange in the finale! Could he have used some himself?

I think the permed hair looked ridulous on all of them.

"All Brady men must have perms". It's a rule. You'll notice that even Bobby had a perm by the time the variety show aired.

The next episode when the Bradys return from Hawaii , Mike has real straight hair again... the episode where Marcia starts high school and embarrasses Greg in front of his friends ... then starting with the following episode it's back to the perm

Not saying this is fact, but has anyone considered that their hair was ALWAYS curly? However it was often so short early on it wouldn't appear curly, then as it grew out somewhat they blow dried it... but then suddenly said the hell with it? I think this was the case with Greg and Mike, I think Bobby just wanted to look like his Pa
