Thumbs up Did Anyone Like The Finale?

I thought it was pretty good, better than most others. I guess Misha won't be back next season, unless she isn't dead just in a coma.

No, Marissa is definitely dead. She is leaving the show to pursue other acting oppurtunities.

I was liking the finale a lot until they killed off Marissa. I personally never liked Marissa but looking at the big picture I think the show might've jumped the shark, I hope not, but who knows? I just can't wait until Volcheck is off the show it's getting too much already.

I forgot to DVR the season finale! Does anybody know if they are repeating it? I had a feeling it would be Marissa.

I was surprised they killed off Marissa from the OC, but I knew one of the major cast members was being axed, I just thought it would be another character...

I don't think they'll be repeating it any time soon, but i found a few videos on youtube that you might want to see.

So no one thinks there is any chance she's alive? I like to keep my hopes up even if it isn't likely.

Well, assuming that she's dead, I hate that they killed her off. Realisticly people, on the show, will be mourning her death for a long time. That is going to make the show depressing and in a downer mood for a while. Why couldn't they have just made her go off on the boat?Without her the quality of the show should go down

The rest of the show was good. It wasn't that exciting but it was nice to see them graduate.

Nope. She's gone, sadly. Mischa was in an interview on a radio station here, and she told them that she asked to be let go because she saw no future for her character. She said they put Marissa through all they could.

I agree with her, but I wonder how this is gonna affect the show. Afterall, Mischa Barton is the biggest star to come from the OC. Even bigger than Adam and Rachel. And i'm sorry, but I don't think Mini Coop will be even half as big as Mischa was.

FOX aired reruns of the other Seasons all summer long. Last sumemr, they aired every single Season 2 episode. They doubled up on the eps thursday nights. And 2 years ago, they showed Season 1 eps during the summer. So they most likely will air Season 3 this year. The only thing is, you'll probably have to wait to see the Finale at the end of August.

But could she still be alive and just leave to go work on the boat with her father?

Josh ( the writer) was thinking about that, but they really needed to do this. Marissa is dead. Unfortunatly, they couldnt kill off like volcheck, they had to kill off one of my favorite characters on the show. I was so mad. Still am actually, its going to be a really warped out season 4. But I am sure it will still be alright. Josh is going to come back to writing the show more, now that he has more stuff to work with, so hopefully he will make some good things happen. :/

Still is ironic that Ryan survived the crash and Marissa didn't

I'm sorry, but Marissa was not one of my favorite characters. But I admit, it will be VERY awkward without her. She's a huge piece of the show.
