DVD website - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm not sure if the rest of you guys have visited the official CIC DVD website, there's nothing on there but a link to sign up for a DVD newsletter.

I guess if lots of us sign up, NBC Universal will hurry up and release the rest of the seasons.

Does anyone know how well the first season dvd sold? I would be very interested in knowing.

I just got the first season for only $22.99 and it was the only one left at my store...

I honestly don't think it sold too well. All the local Best Buy's, Circuit City's, and Target's around my area didn't even stock the DVD.

...and during it's first week out, it's wasn't even on the Top 200 on Amazon's Bestseller's

It didn't sold well? Well, it was the last one at my store and for only $22.99. It was really the last one left and that was it.....probably it's a North Eastern thing...

Universal needs to at least give Season 2 a chance on DVD. Most of the people I know who watched Charles in Charge back in the 80s, started watching the Powell family episodes... they don't even remember the Pembrokes at all. Because of this, they had no interest in that first season DVD set, and would only buy Seasons 2 on...

The Pembroke season will always be my favorite. I love it.
