I would *love* to find out where I can get a copy of the music that plays during various What's Happening episodes (you know, that same song that rerun always plays when he dances, the music the "rockets" dance to, the music from "disco dollar disaster", etc.). Does anyone know where/how I can get a copy of it?

Aren't they supposed to list the music in the closing credits?

Henry Mancini did the music for the opening theme. That much I know.

I like the interlude music from the episode where Raj writes a script for Central Avenue in season 1.

The song from the episode where the window was coming down is " Get Up Get Down Get Funky Get Loose" by Teddy Pendergrass.
I'm sure you could download it. |

I have Teddy's Greatest Hits Anthology set on CD's, and this is one of the songs that is on it. I didn't think about it or quite match it to Rerun's dance theme song, but hell yeah it certainly IS!! Good find and point made, CW!! Thanx much!!

I agree in the fact that the overall THEME song could've been put to something else, other than that Henry Mancini composition...
The theme for WH could've been a little more upbeat and indicative of the time period in which it was popular (i.e.: themed to a disco-style or even with an R&B touch, or other). Anyway, it's all good, no matter what...

Isn't that the same music they used when the boys went to visit Raj's mother's boss, while they were playing poker? If so, that was weird, cheap music.
