Default Teachers: It's a done deal.....

...that "TEACHERS" won't be coming back next fall. It's not on NBC's proposed fall schedule.

Too Bad, I watched one ep but I kept forgetting to program my VCR to record it because of the NBA playoffs.

I am currently downloading the entire series. With only 6 episodes its real easy to get. They are in excellent quality too.

Teachers wasn't bad for a midseason replacement. Compared to some of the clunkers NBC tried to sneak past us (Four Kings? Man that sucked) Teachers had potential.

I agree that it wasn't the worst thing NBC has aired, particularly when it comes to Americanizations of British shows. (Who can forget the great "Coupling" debacle?) Actually, I was surprised to learn that "Teachers" was a remake of the British show of the same name. I didn't see any similarities at all except, of course, that it was set in a school and was about teachers. I wanted to like it, mainly because I'm a big fan of Sarah Alexander, but I just felt bad for her when I watched this show. I gave up after three and a half episodes.

Miss Alexander was one of the best things about "Coupling." I agree that this show wasn't up to par with her previous hit sitcom. Hopefully, this won't be the last we see of her on American TV.
