Default This is why Bobby was always my favorite Brady

I was the episode last night when the Bradys went to Hawaii and when they were getting off the Plane and was kissed by the Hawaiian Girls, Bobby was the only one was disgusted by the kiss and was wiping off his face-LOL-LOL I never saw that scene before but Laughed my ASS last night. It was also funny because it showed the age difference between Greg and Bobby. Bobby was disgusted by the kiss but Greg was Kissing the Girls Back-lol

In that scene where they're getting off the plane, Peter dodges the girl completely.

It's funny you mention this scene. I remember laughing at it when I was a kid. But I watched it on the marathon last week and I barely even noticed it. It seemed to go by so fast.

Bobby ruled!

The Hawaii episode is one of my favorites, along with Fright Night. Is the Hawaii episode available on DVD?

I forgot about that scene, that was a good one...

Did Bobby actually put lotion on the girl? He sure got over his disgust with women in a hurry...or maybe he just didn't like being kissed... either that, or his and Peter's desire to "razz" Greg overcame any ill feelings he had about touching a girl.

How ironic that, in the following season, Bobby would discover that kissing wasn't all that bad, as he received the first and only screen kiss in Brady history, from none other than Melissa Sue Anderson.

Speaking of which, there's an episode of Little House on the Prairie in which Charles and Mary go to Chicago (Charles goes to a farmers convention, and Mary goes along to meet her boyfriend, with whom she's been corresponding ever since he left Walnut Grove)... anyway, on the trip home, Charles and Mary are on the train, and a young man boards the train and sits across from them... he explains that he's heading their way (his desitnation is either Walnut Grove or Sleepy Eye, I forget)... turns out that the young man was played by Mike Lookinland. That was very cool

I always liked Bobby too. I think he was one of the best actors on the show. His facial expressions seemed genuine and was really cute in the second and third seasons. They also gave him some of the best one-liners, comebacks, and antics.

Some of my favorites were: washing his suit, climbing the swingset to get his bird, Cinderella, at the drive-in, Joe Namath, Jesse James, chin-up contest with Greg, secret admirer and safety monitor. And of course, all his scenes with Tiger.

I like when Bobby and Cindy run into Don Ho in Hawaii. Every time I watch it, I have to stop and sing along with that catchy tune and then Bobby sits on the ukelele!

There is one where I absolutely HATE Bobby. It is when he feels sorry for himself and decides to run away from home because nobody loves him!

But I LOVE the one where he has Jesse James as his hero!

I never cared for that particular scene... I understand that since the Bradys went to Hawaii, naturally somebody would run into Don Ho...

But even when the episode first aired, I just found it difficult to believe that two kids that are Bobby's and Cindy's ages would be that impressed with a Don Ho song... unless they were just being polite. His music would have been thought of as 'square' by kids that age.

I also hated the commerical aspect of it, although I wouldn't have seen that at the time. I'm surprised that Ho didn't perform at the luau in the last episode of that trilogy.

But his interaction with the kids was good, especially his modesty when they asked him if he could play the ukelele....

Don Ho is a legend. Even the Brady kids would be in awe of meeting him....square or not!
