Thanks Pav.
Interesting stuff... I won't comment too much right now because last year's leaked schedule was quite a bit different from the official one. I think it's stupid to move SVU, if they do it. |

Moving SVU up an hour is a smart move I think unless the Unit takes part of their audience. Wednesday looks weak though. Studio 60 isn't going to beat Lost or Criminal Minds. It'll probably be a critical favorite with low ratings. Friday Night Lights sounds like a good show but I don't know if it'll survive on Monday at 8. I'm commited to Prison Break.

NBC's rough schedule changed a bit from last year. ABC's was the exact same thing. CBS and FOX were minor stuff.
We will see tomorrow morning. |

All I can say is I really hope it ends up being wrong, because if Scrubs doesn't return, I might die.

Scrubs will return in January for 22 episodes. I can confirm that, too. All mid-season: Apprentice: Hollywood, Crossing Jordan, Law & Order: CI. And a few new series, as well.

Oh thank goodness. But I still think it would be better if NBC would just air it Thursdays with Earl and Office in the fall. Some shows work better returning non-stop in January (like 24) but if anything, Scrubs proved that it isn't that powerful as a mid-season replacement as it suffered it's worst ratings to date this season.

Official line-up:
NBC PRIMETIME SCHEDULE FOR FALL 2006-07 *New programs in CAPS (with the exception of "ER") MONDAY 8-9 p.m. "Deal or No Deal" 9-10 p.m. "HEROES" 10-11 p.m. "Medium" TUESDAY 8-9 p.m. "FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS" 9-10 p.m. "KIDNAPPED" 10-11 p.m. "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" WEDNESDAY 8-9 p.m. "The Biggest Loser" 9-9:30 p.m. "20 GOOD YEARS" 9:30-10 p.m. "30 ROCK" 10-11 p.m. "Law & Order" THURSDAY 8-8:30 p.m. "My Name Is Earl" (new time) 8:30-9 p.m. "The Office" (new time) 9-10 p.m. "STUDIO 60 ON THE SUNSET STRIP" 10-11 p.m. "ER"/("THE BLACK DONNELLYS" in January 2007) FRIDAY 8-9 p.m. "Deal or No Deal" 9-10 p.m. "Las Vegas" 10-11 p.m. "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (new day and time) SATURDAY 8-9 p.m. "Dateline Saturday" 9-11 p.m. Drama Series Encores SUNDAY 7-8 p.m. "FOOTBALL NIGHT IN AMERICA" 8-11 p.m. "SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL" Consistent with NBC's ongoing strategy of introducing new series all season long, January will see the arrival of the previously announced drama "The Black Donnellys" -- from Oscar winners Paul Haggis ("Crash") and Bobby Moresco ("Crash"). The series is a gritty saga about four working-class Irish brothers' exploits in organized crime. It will debut on Thursdays (10-11 p.m. ET) and continue with consecutive original episodes. As a result, "ER" will premiere in its 13th season this Fall on Thursdays (10-11 p.m. ET) and will run with virtually continuous original episodes until its cliffhanger in December. The Emmy-winning series will resume after "The Black Donnellys" completes its first season. After the NFL season concludes in January 2007, NBC will return to entertainment programs as it introduces a new Sunday-night lineup featuring "America's Got Talent" (8-9 p.m. ET) with newly announced host Regis Philbin presiding over a wide-open national talent contest produced by Simon Cowell ("American Idol"). "The Apprentice" (9-10 p.m. ET), with business titan Donald Trump, returns with a new edition based in Los Angeles. The reality series is followed by the new drama "Raines," starring Jeff Goldblum ("The Lost World: Jurassic Park") as an eccentric police detective in an inventive crime drama from Emmy-winning writer-producer Graham Yost ("Band of Brothers") and director-writer-producer Frank Darabont ("The Shawshank Redemption"). Also for mid-season, NBC can draw upon such new comedies as "The Singles Table," depicting a group of witty and single strangers who meet, console and befriend each other at a wedding, and "Andy Barker, P.I.," starring Andy Richter, who re-teams with co-writer and executive producer Conan O'Brien (NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien") as an earnest CPA who embraces the unlikely chance to become a private detective. Fan favorites "Crossing Jordan" and "Scrubs" will return to the NBC schedule at some point later in the season. |

I am glad Scrubs is returning, but another late start might be a problem - epsecially considering NBC's schedule looks very strong for next year. I am glad the Andy Richter/Conan O'Brien comedy was picked up, it sounds interesting. NBC will have a strong thursday for sure. Nice choice of comedy & drama.

Thoughts...
NBC PRIMETIME SCHEDULE FOR FALL 2006-07 *New programs in CAPS (with the exception of "ER") MONDAY 8-9 p.m. "Deal or No Deal" 9-10 p.m. "HEROES" 10-11 p.m. "Medium" Not many changes here. Heroes could be lost with Grey's Anatomy and Two and a Half Men, but maybe it will do better than the Apprentice. TUESDAY 8-9 p.m. "FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS" 9-10 p.m. "KIDNAPPED" 10-11 p.m. "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" Risky airing two new dramas back-to-back. Won't beat CBS's two dramas. Not sure what ABC will do here yet. WEDNESDAY 8-9 p.m. "The Biggest Loser" 9-9:30 p.m. "20 GOOD YEARS" 9:30-10 p.m. "30 ROCK" 10-11 p.m. "Law & Order" Biggest Loser should be OK, but Tues at 8 would be better. The two sitcoms are badly placed, Lost, Criminal Minds, and eventually AI will kill them. THURSDAY 8-8:30 p.m. "My Name Is Earl" (new time) 8:30-9 p.m. "The Office" (new time) 9-10 p.m. "STUDIO 60 ON THE SUNSET STRIP" 10-11 p.m. "ER"/("THE BLACK DONNELLYS" in January 2007) Should be good, but can Studio 60 compete with CSI? Earl at 8 p.m. might be a bit too early. FRIDAY 8-9 p.m. "Deal or No Deal" 9-10 p.m. "Las Vegas" 10-11 p.m. "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (new day and time) Nice job not launching a new drama at 10, where all have failed. SATURDAY 8-9 p.m. "Dateline Saturday" 9-11 p.m. Drama Series Encores Not aggresive. SUNDAY 7-8 p.m. "FOOTBALL NIGHT IN AMERICA" 8-11 p.m. "SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL" Should be good for them, and will compete with ABC's lineup. |

I think it is kind of funny they are going to put "The Apprentice" up against "Desperate Housewifes". That will do a lot for a sinking show.

![]() Wednesday is awful. God. Monday and Tuesday looks good. Thursday looks decent(Studio 60 against CSI? ), Law and Order: CI is probably the best thing they could put on Friday at 10.
