Thumbs up

You're 14?!? Aren't you a little young to be ruining your liver? Wow, that's crazy, how do you get it?

I drink alcohol, but I am a few years past legal age. If you are underaged and are drinking, I strongly suggest that you stop or at least wait until you are college aged. I drank quite a bit as well when I was in high school and I wound up getting myself into some serious trouble. I have a few arrests as a result that follow me everywhere I go. It seemed like it was a fun thing when I was 18, but having to explain a public drunkeness arrest everytime I apply for a job is sort of embarassing now.

All that being said, I am quite hungover this morning. Nasty side effect that is one of the responsibilities of drinking.

Having a drinking probelm at age 14 isn't the sort of thing you should be saying "so what?" about! You need to get some support and get some help real quick. Best of luck to you.

I'm 20 and I do drink wine, beer, and margaritas. I probably would like other alcohol, just haven't tried it yet. Never been drunk, but a little lose before. I enjoy a nice glass of wine at dinner or a beer in the backyard talking to friends. 21 in September and already have a driver because the other 3 of us will not be any condition to drive.

Others have done a good job warning about the dangers of alcohol. I will say this to all athletes: Everytime you get drunk you lose a week's worth of athletic training. Alcohol can be enjoyable, but it shouldn't be treated callously either.

The closest thing to beer you'll see me drinking is root beer. I don't drink at all, but I have had some alchohal before. In fact, I've had wine a few times, and it's pretty good. I've had a little bit of a margerita, frozen, with salt.

I'm 11 and 3/4 (I'll be 12 this summer.) and I had a midnight margarita on New Year's. But that's all. Oh, wait... I had a sip of wine at a shareholders meeting once... But that's ALL!

A few things that can be found on bumper stickers that reminded me of Jinny...

1. Finally 21, and legally able to do things I've been doing since 15.

2. A hangover is the wrath of grapes.

3. They call it PMS because Mad Cow Disease was already taken.

4. POLICE STATION TOILET STOLEN -- Cops have nothing to go on.

5. I have PMS and a gun. Are there any questions?
(Number 5 was altered a little.)

E Pluribus Unum... Have a nice day!

I'm 12, and I've never had anything alchoholic, except once when I was 3, I thought I was drinking tea. Oh, and once a few months ago, I was at our private cabin, and my dad mixed some shnopps into some hot chocolate and told me it was ok. But I only had a little, so it didn't matter. I don't think that I'll ever be the drinking type.

In loving memory of Mrs. Delia Gray...

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13

"For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations." Psalms 100:5

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
