Florida not in TVLand top 10 Moms??? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I saw the commercials for that top 10 TV Moms thing and Florida was in every commercial, and then she's not even in the top 10, WTF??? They didn't even mention her at all that I could see??? I thought that was really stupid.

You are absolutely right, she was in every promo for that stupid top 10 list.

she was a no nonesense, good natured, honest christian woman

who raised a good family in the worst of situations

the executives at tvland need to get their head out of their

I couldn't remember the order, so I went to the TVLand website. It says "see results" so I clicked it and it wasn't even in the right order! I know Roseanne was number 1. And again, when I clicked on the TV Moms thing, who's on that page?....Florida! I think they have some nutty people working there sometimes!

Yes she was. It had nothing to do with the fact that she was a lawyer. She was a good mother and one of those moms that are memorable to me and to others. Florida should have been on that list. I think that it is a slap in the face to use her in the promos and not even mention her in the special.

To me florida was a good mom, but she was just soo damn dramatic,thas the only reason i dont like her, otherwise she was a good wife and mom.

Wrong! Thelma was the dramatic one. WAAAAAY OVER DRAMATIC. and btw: don't ever mention on the GT board that Claire is any way better than Florida. If given the option, i would rather watch Flo over claire any day.

I agree! I love me some Claire Hanks Huxtable as well. I do like Florida at the same time. Florida was dramatic occasionally as well:
