"I was on the internet on a web site about John Ritter the other day and I saw that someone wanted to know why he died. This is why he died. John Ritter was a very good man. I personally don’t know anyone who didn’t like him. He was such a sweet, smart, and cool guy with a great heart and a zany attitude. He was one of a kind. John Ritter woke up on September 11th 2003 and he and his wife, Amy got their daughter, Stella out of bed and got her excited that it was her birthday and she was five years old that day. He was a very sentimental guy but he was especially sentimental seeing his baby turn five. He said some very sweet things to Stella and Amy that morning that would have echoed with them even until the next day but now they see that somehow they’re meant to last. Later that day John arrived at work on the set of his new TV show, 8 simple rules. That afternoon he started to get very pale and sick to his stomach. Kaley Cuoco, the female actor who plays Bridget Hennessy on 8 simple rules said that he had been sweating so bad it made him look like he had just jumped into a swimming pool. He told his co-stars that he wasn’t feeling well and went to his dressing room to lie down. Later he started to experience vomiting and chest pain. He called his wife to tell her he didn’t feel good and some of his co-workers were taking him across the street to Providence St. Joseph Hospital, the same hospital where he was born. At six o’clock that afternoon John was admitted into that hospital. It was about that time that John’s wife, Amy called a good friend of John’s to tell him that her husband was very sick and the doctors thought he was having a heart attack. She called back a few minutes later and told him it wasn’t a heart attack. It was something called an aortic dissection and he might die. John and Amy told each other that they loved each other one last time and they wheeled him off to surgery where they tried to repair the damaged artery. Then God called to him and said, “John, it’s time to go home. Your castle’s ready." An angel took John by the hand and away they went. That’s why he died when he did. God did not do it to be cruel. God loves John and he loves his family. He loves all of us and I know it hurt when John Ritter died but we will all see him again some day and I can’t wait to meet him. That was really beautiful. I myself think that John might have seen what was to be if he had survived, maybe he saw down the road that he might have ended up like a vegtable, and if that was to be the case, I really don't think that John would've wanted to live that way. It's just like the old saying...'only the good die young.'
