I was shocked to hear this about Thelma and Keith - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the episode "Florida's Homecoming," Thelma reveals that she has been dating Keith for a month. A MONTH?!? I always thought that Thelma and Keith were dating for like a year. One month and all of a sudden they get married? Are you kidding me?!?

Yep. If they had been going for a year then the family would have met him before that night.
Remember, we are dealing with Thelma here...queen of falling in love.
Keith was going on the road and he wanted Thelma as his wife before he left.

I thought that was insane. I haven't seen these episodes in a few years, so I guess I forgot or never picked up on it. I just assumed that Thelma was trying to keep Keith a secret from her family.

The fastest ever is Christopher on The Sopranos. On last week's episode, we see his girlfriend for the first time, then they got married off camera.

Seriously, i know what you mean. I wouldn't take what Thelma says abt being in love and wanting to get married serious at all. I mean, the old man she didn't love enough to want to marry him.
