as reported on many websites, the CW has ordered 13 more episodes for 7th Heaven!!!

It will probably depend on ratings or how much it costs to make. It could also depend on the producers/writers/actors if they decide they've had enough.

Is this definatly happening?

I think it is stupid to have a series finale and then to just bring the show back. At least it will deal with the cliff hanger. Now we get to watch everyone raising twins. It will always be the same plot going on with three different groups of people. I can't see how it won't be extremly boring. The kids have grown up too much for the show to be interesting.
