Default What singers, groups always remind you of the 70's?

It never fails, when I hear Sly & The Family Stone, I always flash back to that time. Their music, for me at least, is the epitomy of the 70's R&B/Funk music/sound.

Earth Wind & Fire (the early years); The O'Jays, The Stylistics and of course, KC & the sunshine Band. I never get tired of this music. I can play it over and over again.

The Bee Gees remind me what was good about 1970's music.

Captain and Tennille remind me of everything that was bad in 1970's music.

The Bee Gees, Elton John, KC and the Sunshine Band, Rod Stewart (although a lot of his hits were in the 80s)

Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd reminds me of the rock era in the 70s

Lots of them. But a few that stand out are Fred Wesley and the JBs, Parliament-Funkadelic, The O'Jays, The Spinners. These groups really WERE the 70s.
