I find it strange Julio wasn't in "The Surprise Party" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The full cast was there, and Julio should have been there. Fred was insulting everyone when he came back, and it would been topped off with Julio. It's bad enough Julio wasn't in any episodes with Esther, Donna, or Bubba, but that would have made it complete. I felt the writers were purposely keeping Julio away from the rest of them.

The actor, Gregory Sierra, wasn't in this episode because he started filming for the new upcoming police comedy called Barney Miller.
