One Day At A Time, Maude, Mary Hartman DVD's - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On the new "Facts Of Life" DVD, there is a preview called "Ladies Night" which clearly plays beautiful restored clips from "One Day At A Time", "Maude" and "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman".....this is a wonderful sign that indeed these shows are in the works from Sony.....As for "Mary Hartman", it will be interesting to see how this is released, since it was a 5 night a week show, and really couldn't be released as a season, and a best of compilation wouldn't make sense either, maybe it will be released as a two volume season one set. I'm sure these will happen by years' end.

Well, One Day at a Time had been mentioned to eventually come to DVD like a year or two ago, and recently they had said Maude was coming. I've yet to see this feature but now it really has me wondering as well. I agree it would be interesting how they'd go about releasing Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Obviously they'd have to release it in volumes, assuming that it would sell well enough which I think is very iffy.

I love Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. I'd buy it and I seen all the shows when it was on the TVland Kitchen line up.

I love it too, but I've gotten the impression that not many people particularly care for it, and Sony only likes to release shows that they know will sell well. I dunno. I'd love to see Mary Hartman on DVD. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if that FOL DVD extra was a hint of what's to come or what.

It's been mentioned on the Ladies Night preview, so I bet it comes out by the end of the year or hopefully sooner.

Is there any news about Sony releasing ODAAT on DVD? I've been seeing promos featuring ODAAT, and it's been mentioned that it would be released later this year.

They need to finally release this show on DVD now.
