I always wondered that myself. It seemed ridiculous that the FBI would have to call a cab. It seemed so unbelievable.

I don't think they treated them all that bad, I think they were just so shocked to hear about Cleatus that they weren't really thinking.
And yes, that was dumb to call for a cab, obviously if they were working and their tires were stolen, it wasn't their fault, so a car should have come to get them, lol. And gee, when they saw Cleatus was there, they suddenly were able to call for a car, lol.

James said something like "why aren't you looking for so and so" And then there was a big audience reaction. To me it tried to do one over on the FBI.

I thought that was funny how made fun of the FBI and their competence. It was Michael who inquired about them looking for Medgar Evers' killer and the audience clapped.
