After a five-month absence, I make my triumphant return to the UM board. (crowd boos.) Anyway, just a thought I had in mind: Was I the only one who caught the bad editing on the 2 PM (1 PM Birmingham time) episode today?

Be more specific. What was bad about it?

They played the segment title music over the Lifetime UM bumper graphic before the lost loves case about the lady who found her real father. Also, you know that sequence with the 6 bars during the intro when they spin and turn before they go in center screen so the word "mysteries" forms and the letters of the word "unsolved" appear? Right after the bars come up after the screen fades from a shot of R. Stack to black, you could see where "Unsolved Mysteries" comes from the top of the screen, as if they were running down all of the segment topics and going into the solved montage(like an NBC episode). It had nothing to do with any of the stories, but if you pay attention to graphics, then this sort of thing jumps out at you. If you recorded this episode, you'd probably see it.

I know what you're talking about because I saw it too.....although I don't think anyone will understand your explanation.
When I saw it, I immediately thought, "I wonder if someone on the board will actually make a topic about that." Normally it's something so small and unsignificant that no one would care. But the people here care about the most trivial of things. I guess I was right. |
