Brady Girls in Bikinis - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On The Brady Bunch Hawaii Episodes, the Brady Girls were wearing bikinis. I feel that the series should have done more beach episodes in the series' fourth and fifth seasons, and Marcia and Jan should have worn bikinis more often. I thought they looked great and downright sexy in those swimsuits.

Perhaps they should have done a spinoff from the Brady Bunch after BB was cancelled, and the new series would be titled "The Brady Beach Bunnies" -- a beach-themed series about Marcia and Jan in sexy teeny bikinis (SIGH), sort of like 1970s version of Gidget.

I've always gone for beautiful girls for as long as I can remember. Back in high school, I knew a girl who resembled Marcia Brady, and my heart was beating rapidly. I thought I was transported to Bradyland.

What do you think of those ideas?

Yup, in the fifth season, they could have gotten rid of the parents, Greg, Peter, Bobby, Cindy, and Alice. Just have Marcia and Jan prancing around in bikinis ! Beats watching Oliver !

I'm gay and EVEN I THINK Marcia and Jan shoulda been shown more in bikinis. But, of course, that means they shoulda ALSO shown Greg and Peter in the tight short-shorts that men wore in the 1970's.

But I digress.

I think you've hit upon the real reason "The Brady Brides" did so poorly. It wasn't for lack of talent. It was that America missed out on the chance to see young, free, single Marcia and Jan dating lots and lots of awesome and totally radical dudes in the 80's!

That is, like, SOoooOO BOGUS!

No need to lose hope, folks.

Really. Just think of the incredible staying power of "Star Trek," and how a franchise can sometimes outlive its creator, or even go further without him.

I'm picturing a day in the near future when bold, new writers create a "Brady"-based show, featuring, say, the hot young daughters and sons of the original Brady kids, who will do occasional guest appearances, while the Next Generation cavorts around New Millenium Los Angeles.

I really get the impression that Eve Plumb (Jan) didnt much appreciate being filmed in a bikini ( And frankly, she looked a lot better in a mini skirt anyway )
