Default Bird Flu movie

There’s a movie about the Bird Flu coming on TV.

Quote:
Scientists have discovered a deadly and resilient strain of the avian flu that can be passed between humans. It's already infected thousands and threatens to explode into a pandemic that would dwarf the 1918 Spanish Flu, which killed up to 100 million.
It's not reality, though. It's a scare-'em May sweeps movie. But it could happen.
But it’s not going to happen. This pandemic theory happens to just be a scare tactic like those often used to keep the population in a certain mind-set….that being:”Be afraid of threats outside of yourself, and believe that the Medical Ind is the only thing that can protect you.”

Although, pandemics do happen. We’re already living with many: heart disease, Diabetes(from refined carbs), Attention Deficit Disorder, obesity, fatigue, fear, anger…

All these are caused by our lifestyles…..and by polluted air-water-food, slave economy, toxic media and drugs that are created by the same people keeping us in fear.
And we go along with it. It has served them well.

Whatcha think 'bout that?

I'd rather see The Birds Janice, the new movie is a direct to video movie imo.

The trades (example the HR) have given it good reviews. I guess we will have to determine tonight if it is good or not.

Here is the HR review: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr..._id=1002464644

There've been enough movies like this. Why do people watch them?
We got 50 years of sitcoms to watch....and re-watch.

These "end of the world" scenario movies are certainly wearing thin. There's a new made-for-TV movie coming up called "10.5" about a massive earthquake. It seems we have an endless fascination with death and destruction...

Actually, that piece of crap came out two years ago.

Sheesh, another friggin' disaster movie! Typical 1970's tripe! For this, ABC postponed another episode of "Less Than Perfect." The only thing they could do that's possibly worse is bring back BRAT CAMP!

And if you can guess by now, I'm staying far away from that remake of "The Posideon Adventure!!"

You are not the only one, the movie BOMBED in the ratings. It got a 3.6/6 and a distant third from Fox and CBS.

I watched it and thought it was really good... I knew it would not do well though. ABC couldn't have expected much against Idol/House/NCIS/The Unit. I did think it would do better than a 3.6 though. I was thinking maybe a 5.0.
