The one where he's gonna sponsor JJ, Sweet Daddy says to James,
"What's with the ATTITUDE?" I just thought that was hilarious the way he said attitude, you could tell it was hard for John Amos to keep a straight face. I don't know how any of them could keep a straight face during that episode!! I love when the thugs bring the new fridge and they say, "Sweet Daddy doesn't want anyone having to drink warm beer" LOL |

Teddy Wilson aka Sweet Daddy Williams, was my favorite 70's sitcom actor. I think he was funny in everything he did.

Was Sweet Daddy a recurring character? I saw the episode where he has JJ paint a portrait of his girlfriend. She was one nasty biatch, lol.

I just looked up Teddy Wilson's bio on imdb. The poor guy died of AIDS in 1991. He made appearances on Sanford and Son, What's Happening, The Jeffersons, AITF and a lot of other tv shows. I don't know whether this is news to anyone or not.
