i am under the assumption that regardless if an appliance (such as the stereo) is new OR NOT, it has nothing to do with the circuits going out. I mean, we have had our circuit fuse blown when TOO MANY THINGS were going at once...microwave, hair dryer, washer, stereo, computer, fan, etc.
AM I RIGHT ABT THIS???????? So why did James go into his (here we go again speeches) abt how the stereo is not well made, etc. etc. etc. which I found to be a sad excuse to AGAIN bash something, if it isn't the cops, the government, employers, now it's the companies that make appliances. |

I think we can say that's a Hole in the episode because we never found out anything else about the stereo. Whether they returned it or was going to get a replacement

I think that the radio could've been zapping way to much energy and that was making the lights go out everytime they tried to use it.

On a funny note, it was a brand new stereo....maybe those circuits were not used to ANYTHING NEW and the energy emitted from it was TOO MUCH...

![]() i read this three times and still don't get it...LOL Integrated circuit with fuse circuitry simulating fuse blowing Document: United States Patent 5517455 Fuse circuitry is presented which emulates fuse blowing in a temporary manner. As an embodiment, redundant elements of an integrated circuit may be enabled and/or tested prior to laser repair through the use of non-destructive fuse circuitry which emulates fuse blowing. An integrated circuit has a plurality of addressable elements and a plurality of redundant elements, which may be used to replace defective addressable elements. Each redundant element has a non-destructive fuse circuit associated with it which may be used to enable and/or test the redundant element prior to laser repair by emulating the blowing of a fuse contained in the non-destructive fuse circuit. The non-destructive fuse circuit is comprised of a fuse connected to a control logic element, such as an inverter, wherein the control logic element is in turn controlled by a test signal. Emulation of blowing the fuse or not blowing the fuse is accomplished by the logic level of the test signal. So, rather than connecting the fuse to a power supply, the fuse is connected to the control logic element which is controlled by the test signal. Thus, non-destructive enabling and testing of a redundant element prior to laser repair may be accomplished by emulating blowing or not blowing of the fuse through the control logic element. The fuse can then be permanently blown if desired. THIS PARAGRAPH KEEPS USING THE WORD "redundant"...me thinks this paragraph is REDUNDANT...

Ok, so i did my research...it has nothing to do with the item(s) that are on, if you are not using the proper fuses, that will cause your circuits to blow. I remember now when we had that problem shortly after my son was born. I had a couple of more things plugged in at that time and the damn fuses kept blowing out. I then had to go to the store and buy BETTER FUSES, with higher voltage (whatever u call it) and ever since then, no problem. So James needed to not say what he did abt the stereo. He just needed to buy BETTER FUSES... |

If you remember in Season 6, the stereo went out again when Thelma and Keith were dancing to Quincy Jones' "Stuff Like That", only this time, the lights did not go out. It was the exact same stereo.

Did we see that stereo again? How about Thelma's? Was that the same one?

But again, BETTER FUSES or fuses that can take more energy output. |
