....related to Treasure, UFO's, Supernatural, Legend, or Sci-Med?
This is thread #2500. I feel so special now. A celebration is in order.

Congratulations on thread #2500 Skunk ape. P.S., your avatar is really cool! I've never seen any solved cases from the aforementioned categories. I think they were put on there to get a broad mix of segments. |

Well I guess you could say the UFO Guardian case was solved as it was found out to be a hoax, right?
Of course we don't need any confirmation that the lady who was cured of cancer by the tiny ufo that circled her bed was a hoax now do we?

What about Brushy Bill Roberts and Billy the Kid. I believe if Brushy Bill had the same scars as William Boney (sp?) aka Billy the Kid, then what are the odds? Of course, the Governer never gave Brushy Bill the chance to speak for his pardon. Then, Brushy Bill died of an apparent heart attack on a street in Hico, Texas. So, you could say that 'Legend' came close to being solved.

Another one that comes to mind is Roger Roxas. His team of hunters actually found treasure in the Phillipines (the Golden Buddha) but the Presidents palace guards confiscated it in a short time. So, you could say treasure was found and the mystery of treasure solved despite the fact it was confiscated.

Come to think of it, the Anastasia one in the Strange Legends category turned out to be a hoax, so that one has been solved.

the crop circles has since been debunked.
another flyby was made of the face on mars and that was shown to actually look drastically different a second time around. |

That face on Mars segment horrified me as a youth. Still can hear Stack's detailed breakdown of the face's features

I thought the crop circles haven't all been proven to be hoaxes... just some?
The treasure that Babe Ness found was somewhat proven thanks to Capt. Orby Swanner. And chocolate as an aphrodesiac was proven by. . . nevermind.

There was one I was thinking of...remembr that segment on the singer who sang "I fought the law and the law one"? They mentioned theories about the girl he was with having something to do with his death. That girl called the show and said she had nothing to do with it. Anyone else remember this?

I don't think the Bobby Fuller case was ever solved. It happened some 40 years ago, it's unlikely it will be solved.
