You beat me to it. This is odd, but good news.

It's a pity Image couldn't have dug up something new for the first disc.

I'd still like to see a colorized version released after this one.

I'm unclear about one thing... the press release states that Disc 2 contains HOURS of bonus material, while the running time of the entire set (at least according to TSoD) states that the total run time is 176 minutes. That would only alot for the documentaries and about 15 minutes of material on disc 2! (Disc 1 has 4 documentaries which run about 40 minutes each, 160 minutes all total).

I went to go buy this at Circuit City today and they didn't have it
Has anyone been able to find it at the stores? I'm going to check Best Buy and Barnes and Noble tonight.

It wasn't listed in the ads which kind of bothered me. I have a friend who works at Best Buy, I'll get him to check it out for me.

I couldn't find it on the Best Buy website, but it's on Barnes and Noble, (at list price, unless you're a member) and on Amazon for 25% off.
I'll be on the lookout for it! Looks like they've added a few things, too. Barnes and Noble had the menu list: Menu Disc #1 -- The Munsters: America's First Family of Fright The Munsters: America's First Family of Fright Fred Gwynne: More Than a Munster Yvonne DeCarlo: Gilded Lily Al Lewis: Forever Grandpa Play All Disc #2 -- The Munsters: America's First Family of Fright "My Fair Munster" Presentation #1 Presentation #2 Play All The Munsters Main Title Sequence (Unaired Version With Portuguese Subtitles) Seven Wonderful Nights (CBS Special With Buddy Ebsen) CBS Network Promos CBS Network Promo #1 CBS Network Promo #2 CBS Network Promo #3 CBS Network Promo #4 Play All "Wayne and Shuster Take an Affectionate Look at the Munsters" (Munsters Segment) Marineland Carnival (CBS Special) "Big G, Little O" Munster, Go Home (Theatrical Trailer) Munster, Go Home (TV Spots) Munster Go Home TV Spot #1 Munster Go Home TV Spot #2 Munster Go Home TV Spot #3 Munster Go Home TV Spot #4 Play All Syndication TV Spots Syndication Spot #1 Syndication Spot #2 Syndication Spot #3 Syndication Spot #4 Syndication Spot #5 Play All Universal Newsreel New Studio Center Santa's in Town Movie Munsters Play All "It's What's Happening, Baby" (With Murray the "K") Bonus Interviews Al Lewis Remembering the Munsters Fred Gwynne in the Foam Suit Play All Yvonne De Carlo Getting the Part of Lily Munster Playing It Straight Fred Gwynne and the Flu Losing Her Wig Teasing on the Set Milton Berle and Marlon Brando Play All Butch Patrick Getting Cast for "The Munsters" The Success of the Show Fireworks on the Set Al Lewis Makeup Yvonne De Carlo as Lily Munster The Only Kid at Universal Favorite Episodes On the Set With Al Lewis and Fred Gwynne A Strong Memory Al Lewis and a Sense of Humor The Munsters Strike a Chord Working Closely With Fred Gwynne Play All Beverley Owen Meeting Fred Gwynne The Actors and the Contract Camaraderie and Success Marilyn Munster Fred Gwynne's Makeup Play All Pat Priest Meeting Yvonne De Carlo Yvonne De Carlo's Custom Car Family Values One a a Kind The Tears of Al Lewis The Adorable Grandpa Al Lewis As Grandpa Color Vs. I was a little frustrated with todays new releases. There were two I was interested in, the Munsters and the Hollywood Legends of Horror box from Warners (which includes Mad Love and Mark of the Vampire among others).
I found the LOH box at, of all places, Tower Records...which surprised me since they are going out of business. I went there on a lark and they had one sitting there. I checked Best Buy, Circuit City, B&N, Borders...etc. Nobody had either of these titles. I finally placed an order for the Munsters set on DeepDiscountDVD.com which had the best price (about $16). I 'think' I'll get it tomorrow but it may come later this week. I'll be glad to have the bonus material since Universal didn't really provide much on their two box sets. |

Thanks for posting that list, Dirt!
So I went to Best Buy, B&N and finally F.Y.E. where I found it! Best Buy told me that they had it in earlier and showed me the place on the shelf where it was but they also admitted that for some odd reason it wasn't on their website...but anyway, it was at F.Y.E. and I'm so glad I found it! I loved seeing all those rare goodies. |

Me, too...
![]() I looked for it tonight at Best Buy I couldn't find it on the shelves. I asked a clerk and he looked it up. He said I could order it, but they didn't have any on hand. BTW: Wal-Mart had the Fright Fest DVD.
