so I want to try tampons for the first time but i need to know what to expect and how to do it. Could someone help me (sorry fellas :P)

The directions are on the box, it's really simple when you take one out and actually look at it. It WILL feel funny the first time but you'll get use to it just like you got use to the pads.

i dont know how you girls do it. my brother made me read it when i was like 12 i was horrified.

There's nothing to be scared about. It's not always easy the first time, but when it slides in you'll know and, at least for me, it wasn't uncomfortable at all. Hopefully the PM from Irene helps and good luck.

it's hard for you i know...i didn't use them until after being a mother, so i can only imagine what it must be like for a young girl...man, us ladies have it hard...it's gonna take time sweetie, just remember what I PM'd you and the link and every woman here can tell you it was never easy the first time.
