Tvshowsondvd.com reported thst sony pictures stuidios told them that Ellen Degenere's short lived sitcom "The Ellen Show" will be out on DVD July 11,2006. It will be titled "The Ellen Show:The Complete Series". It will be on 2DVDs, and the run time will be 399minutes. It has guest stars by Betty Whit, Mary Tyler Moore, and many other Great stars!

Unaired episodes, too. I always wanted to see the John Ritter episode that was unaired.

That explains it. I have this show on tape from CBS and I don't remember John Ritter ever guest starring on it. Turns out it was an unaired episode.

Yepp! They only aired 13 episodes, but The 2-DVd-Set will have all 18 episodes. I also hope it has some Bonus Features, but then again this just being released on DVD is good enough. I know this sounds stupid but what "The Ellen Show" about?? See I'm going to buy it because It has Ellen Degeneres & I know it will be Funny, but what is the overall plot of this show?

yea im excited to see that to. John is my favorite actor and Ellen is my favorite actress

The Ellen Show cover is now avaibe at www.tvshowsondvd.com I couldn't copy it on here! It's looks really nice! I can't wait for this to come out.

The Ellen Show is so good! I never saw it but bought the complete series DVD set on a whim a while back, and I'm so glad I did. The entire cast is wonderful (and how could you go wrong pairing Cloris Leachman with Ellen DeGeneres?), the premise is refreshing, the writing and directing and acting are all crisp, clever, and have a unique sense of humor with a dash of whimsy which gives the show its own special flavor that is reminiscent in certain ways of Ellen.

I'm just annoyed by seeing there's no board for The Ellen Show under the "2000s Sitcoms" section here for fans of that show to discuss. Humph.
