I don't know where this thread would fit, so I put it here.
I love a lot of the shows that air on those channels. I love A&E. They have a show called Family Plots. They have a new show abt a car dealership in Las Vegas. That is good. I love to watch Deadliest Catch, abt the Alaskan crab fisherman. It was a documentary and they decided to create a series abt the daily lives of the men who work in the WORLD'S DEADLIEST PROFESSION. Very fascinating. Animal Planet Channel is sooo good. I love watching the Animal Cops shows. Food Channel is awesome. I love to watch $40 a day. Court TV and History Channel are good to watch in the evening. Very informative. |

I watch Discovery health channel. I love House of Babies and Runway Moms. I use to watch Family plots but that got too freaky for me. I like Myth Busters also.
I also like Cash Cab and To Catch a Thief. |

I love Mythbusters on Disc, and History Television ( As its called here in Canada ) is my fave channel of all, but, lately they have been making me mad as they have been showing less documentaries and more of the pseudo-history CRAP like JAG, 12 oclock high and Tactical to practical,,,,I watch HT for HISTORY, not entertainment which i can get anywhere!!!

I absolutely love all of those channels, as well as the National Geographic Channel and the Travel Channel. I bet I spend more time watching these types of channels than any other programming...

I love Family Plots. I bought my friend the first season on DVD for Christmas. I also love Discovery Health Channel and TLC for their shows on birth. Love that stuff.

I have all of the channels you listed except for The Science Channel. I do enjoy watching certain specials on The Discovery Channel or on Discovery Health. In fact, I watched two interesting one-hour specials on Discovery Health just a few hours ago: "Sex Change" and "Born Without a Face."
"Sex Change" was following two stories each of a man and a woman who believed they were destined to be their opposite sex, so it talked about the process they went through, how their families took it, what their thoughts were, etc.... Wow.... "Born Without a Face" was about a two-year-old toddler, Juliana Wetmore, who was born with Treacher Collins syndrome. She has no upper jaw, no cheekbones, no eye sockets, and has the corner of her ear missing. She has gone through a couple of surgeries and will continue going through them until she is an adult. They're trying to align her jaw and facial features as her face is growing. Check out the story: http://www.wnbc.com/news/4006467/detail.html I usually forget to keep up with these channels, but I would like to see more of these science programs. They just intrigue me. |

I love watching all of those informational, medical documentaries on TLC too. The History channel is great for watching armageddon type specials (which, although frightens me to death, I can't stop watching!
) I also love the true crime and forensic investigations on Discovery. And I think the Travel channel just might be the greatest one out there. I love watching the paranormal type stuff, like 'World's Greatest Mysteries' and 'Top Ten Creepiest Destinations in the World'. Amazing stuff!

I get into some of the things they have on those channels. I usually don't go there intentionally, I end up on them while surfing sometimes. I remember one of them had this 2 or 3 hour thing on roller coasters and I was GLUED to it!!!!
