Someone asked me if we don't use the Metric system, what is the name of the measurement system we do use? anyone know out there?

I think it's called the English system. I wish the U.S. could convert to using the metric system, but it would be very hard to get the entire country to change. The metric system is just so much easier to use. I'm a science major so we use metric all the time. It would be nice if I didn't have to convert back and forth. Oh well, wishful thinking.

It's not called The English System. If so then that's what they'd use in England. I don't think it has a specific name being that the United States is the only country that uses it.
