I know there are scripts & sites out there to make this happen, but maybe a newsletter would be a nice addition. It could cover the (intervals) sitcoms news and give updates about the site (latest reviews)?
I know vBulletin has a feature to send mail to forum members, although I think that might be too much - making it optional with a seperate signup would be good.

You have some good ideas. I just don't have the time to implement them all. There are some other things that have to take priority over any new features.
