Wait a minute. James is my man. He had muscles. He was used to lifting up all those heavy boxes at the dock...or where ever he worked...LOL James was awesome. He could pick up ANYTHING. Hell, he could "pick me up"...not in the literal sense

George was a weakling...he was too tiny...LOL

Oh no, I wasn't disputing James's strength. I know he has natural strength. I was saying in George's case, he might be stronger than a lot of people think because he's small. I know some small people that are strong because they use their brains other than muscle.

Oh sweetie, you know i was just being sarcasticly funny...actually, I don't think George could do that. We know James could cuz we saw him do it!

There's a season 10 show called How Not to Marry A Millionaire where he jokingly tries to lift her up and cracks up laughing. His laughing bit looked like he was laughing for real, not because it was a part of the script. He says, "Gravity check" when he does it which is a running joke in that episode.

You remember a lot about those 80 eps. The Jeffersons must be in syndication in your loca area.

Yes it is on WPIX11 late night. Some episodes stand up to repeat viewings more that others though.

I figured that's what it was because your memory of the 1980 eps was just too GOOD-lol
