Default Who here suffers from allergies?

I get allergies usually around springtime. I start sneezing and having sinus conditions I would rather not go into detail abt. I sneeze and sneeze and sneeze. It is very annoying. Nose will itch and I feel the constant need to blow it. I find that other times of the year the allergy will surface. It can get so bad it's like dealing with a real bad cold. The eye itching thing happens when it gets real bad. That is so bad, just the constant rubbing of my eyes and having them water.

I have bad allergies around Spring, and I heard that THIS Spring has been the worst allergy season for 10 years!

It's been pretty mild the past couple of days, but for about a week and a half my allergies were KILLING me, and a couple of mornings when I woke up my eyes would barely open and I just kinda had to let them do their thing throughout the day. I got some Visine Allergy Relief though, and that did help me out a bit.

I get them mostly with my eyes being itchy more so than my nose being stuffed up.

I have really bad allergies. I have to take Zyrtec every day. If I run out of it, I can't breathe and I get like, hives and stuff. It's really bad. I also have asthma so that doesn't make it any better.

I have terrible allergies year round! For me it isn't a question of what am I allergic to it is what am I not allergic to!! I am even allergic to cockroaches!! UGH!! Pretty much the only thing I am not allergic to is cats and dogs!! I am on allergy medication year round and even then that doesn't always get rid of the symptoms. My allergist suggested getting shots of the different allergins to help lessen the allergic reactions, but the side effects can be dangerous so I just suffer.

I can't eat shellfish. That is the biggest bummer for me. Growing up I could eat it all I wanted, then I ate it one weekend and had such a bad reaction that I ended up in the hospital. I have to carry and epi-pen everywhere with me.

I've never had seasonal allergies where my eyes water and nose run. My husband's son suffers terrible with all that.

Yet, six years ago, I woke up covered in hives, in all shapes and sizes. I felt like I was being attacked by a million ants. I had to go to the emergency room. It turns out it's hives (Uticaria). They don't know what causes it. Often times, they never find out. My dermatologist said that the condition will probably just go away on its own.

I've been taking Zyrtec every day since that first hive attack. Every couple of months, I test it out and I don't take the Zyrtec, and by noon the hives are back.

It is because the pollen in the grass. That is one of my worst allergies. I have to shut the windows and doors when they mow the grass at my house.

I use to not ever have bad allergies, but this year, the pollen has killed me. It's been a terrible year for my allergies.

Oh yes. In fact, my sinuses are throbbing right now. Every spring I get these sinus headaches. This one could also be due from the lack of sleep I got last night trying to shop for an IPOD. Damned excitement

Other than that, I am only allergic to penicillin and sulpha.

Yep. Seems like no matter what time of year it is, I have a kleenex in my hand. I think it's also causing my eyes lately to be painfully dry.

I'm glad they made loratidine (active ingredient in Claritin) OTC because I can't take Benadryl and taking nothing sux.
