Anybody ever been to Hawaii if so hoe did you like it what island and was there any thing you did not Like about it?

I went to Hawaii when I was in high school for a marine biology class. I loved it!! We went snorkeling almost every day and learned all about the marine life and even Hawaiian history, climate etc. I was on the Big Island. I liked everything - the ocean, coral, fish, Waipio valley, the city of refuge (I forget the Hawaiian name), the volcanoes, the fresh pineapples.... The one thing I don't like is how much is costs to get to Hawaii. Who knows when I will be able to go back. That is really cool that you live there. I'm sure living there is much different than traveling there. What's it like?

Hawaii is a really cool place...but it is changeing alot. It is getting crowded and we have (on Maui)so much traffic!! and we are starting to get alot of gangs were I live. Hawaii is beutiful were ever you go. You see the same people(since ya live on island.) and it cost alot tolive there. sooo many people have really small houses and we have alot of poor unemployed familys. We get people from all over the world. Philpions, Tongans, Samoans, Asian, Spanish. Hoale (White) Which I am. We see very few rasicm cause we all get along. We only joke around. There are 4 major languges. Of course English and there also is Phlipino(Many w/in) and spanish and Tongin. We experince surbarn life as well as country life. But when I get older I want to move to the main land cause I lived on this rock too long.

My dad was stationed in Hawaii for 4 years before we got transfered here to Nebraska in July 1986. I was 6 years old when my family moved to Nebraska. I loved it Hawaii. The nice weather, the beach, the palm trees, and the people of Hawaii, In my opinion it's the most safest place to live. I hope to go back someday either to visit or to live.

I've been there twice. It's a calming, beautiful place. I was on Oahu and the big island of Hawaii. The ocean and the green landscape is breath taking. It is getting very crowded there. So it's best to stick to the other islands other than Oahu. The shopping is great! Also it's a little expensive too, but you can budget yourself.

I've been to Waikiki and then to Kona (where my Aunt and Grandmother use to live (my Aunt now lives in Delaware and my Grandmother now lives with me) both places are very beautiful and I love everything about Hawaii mostly I love the weather even the rain is warm *sighs* God I hate Oregon
