Default How did you find out about SO, and what are other good sites?

I found out about SO from someone on the TVLand board. I had no idea there was a site like this. Are there other TV sites like this? What are some other good sites to go to? Not that I need to spend anymore time online, just curious, lol.

LOL!!!!!!! I've tried doing research on John Amos too and I couldn't find a lot. Of course I'm not the greatest online researcher. If you find anything good, let me know on the Good Times board, lol.

I was doing a yahoo search on Family Ties, and came across S.O.'s FT board. Iv'e been an S.O. addict ever since. The only other board that even comes close to S.O. IMO, is MySpace. There, you can hear and download alot of great free music, and they have some really cool videos as well. And of course it gives you a chance to get in contact with your schoolmates without having to pay, like that stupid classmates.com site.

I keep hearing about Myspace, but I've never been there. I didn't know it had a classmates-type of thing too, how cool. I'll have to check that one out too! Guess I'll just have to put off cleaning the house to another day again, LOL.

I haven't watched Mork and Mindy since I was a kid, so I don't remember that??? It was neat how they all showed up on all the shows.

Oh yeah, you just go to their search engine thingy, type in your school name and year you graduated, and it'll list everyone from that year who's a member. Iv'e gotten back in contact with people I never thought I'd hear from again, including my best friend from the 6th grade. If you do decide to join, you can even add me as a friend by clicking here if you'd like.

Another good site I like, is imdb.com. They've got some really good message boards their for virtually every movie ever made, as well as tv shows. Some of the members can get pretty mean at times, but if you have thick skin, it's no big deal. It's not as good as here, but it's still a pretty cool site!!
