Have you noticed a decline in picture quality in the last year or so? Mine dosen't seem as clear and sharp as it once was. I'm thinking about going to digital cable.

Maybe it's the position of your dish or your cable line. I have Directv and I have great reception.

I have DirecTV and OCCASIONALLY my screen just goes black (accompanied
by loss of sound) for a few seconds. It doesn't happen often but is a bit annoying. Has anyone else with DirecTV experienced this problem?

Why would I want ON-DEMAND when I didn't get it when I had Comcast. If I wanted it I would have stay with Comcast.

How old is your satelite dish? I had a problem with the reception not being so clear. The dish I had was 5 years old. Well, we recently got TIVO and they give you a new dish. The difference was amazing!! Not only that, but when I had my old dish sometimes during heavy rain storms I would loose the signal. Never happens now.

I love my Directv. Will NEVER go back to cable again!!
