Default In2TV website is a pain

Lousy quality, a billion downloads, and the shows can only be played on an AOL player? WTF? Why don't they just put the episodes on with no-frills so the fans can watch them???

I watched the pilot of Alice in poor quality, but when I tried to watch The Last Review I kept getting a box saying that it could only be played on an AOL player. Well, wasn't I on a AOL website?????? I doubt In2TV lasts.

I don't know about Alice, but a couple of nights ago I watched an episode of Welcome Back Kotter I downloaded through Windows Media Player with no problem. The AOL player hasn't given me any problems either. I actually like In2TV.

Why don't you watch it in AOL Hi-Q? It is DVD style with no ads and I enjoy it. In2TV is doing quite well.

Well, I will try it out. I thought it said something about having a subscription to watch it on Hi-Q.

Just to clarify what I said, I meant I watched (not downloaded) the WBK episode with Windows Media Player. Like Pavanbadal, I usually watch the episodes through AOL HQ, and the quality has been fine for me.

The subscriptions mean if you want episodes of your favorite show downloaded to your hard drive automatically. I'm subscribed to receive automatic WBK downloads.

I am not an AOL member (and NEVER will be) and have had no trouble at all watching episodes of Alice on there. The short 15 second ads don't bother me at all. I admit full screen quality could be better but hey it is free. They will be charging for this before long so enjoy now while it is free.

I really enjoy the in2tv service. For the first poster, The Last Review played for awhile for me, but then when I tried to do it again, it wouldn't play. I think there was a problem with the episode.

This is what I do to be able to tape them on VHS or DVD.

I have a box that I hook my PC's video output to that has a video output to my monitor, but also has a splitter that allows me to run a cable from it to the video input of my DVD/VHS recorder. The device is from AverMedia.

I then have an audio cable that has one end which fits into a jack and the other end splits the audio output into 2. I plug this into the headphone jack on the PC, and plug the other end into the audio inputs on the DVD/VHS recorder.

Then adjust the volume on the PC, and I can tape the output of the PC. I just have to change the channel on the recorder to Line In.

Look, idiots, you have to pay for HQ to see the episodes in large full screen. If not, you get a smaller version with advertisements.

False. Only the standard version of the service is free. HQ costs money.
