I would stay where i am, but i would buy a new house, 2 cars, give a small portion to the needy and charity, and give some to relatives.

With that much money it would take some thinking about what to do with it.
The first thing I would do is locate the owner of the car below and offer to buy it for about $50,000.
Then I would buy the pinball machine "Wizard" (built in 1975).

The next steps would take some planning.

I'm sure every relative I have would want to help me spend it but I would
want to save at least half of it for the future.

I'd give Uncle Sam a few bucks then I'd buy myself a nice house and a car. I'd share with my family & friends except for those long-lost relatives & friends that suddenly appear from nowhere when someone hits the jackpot.

I'd give to as many charities as possible but would mainly focus my attention on helping local people and organizations that needed it. I would also invest some although I'm not sure in what.

though it's not very charitable, it's honest...

I'd pay off my credit cards/car, but my bicycle, go to France for the month of July to watch the tour, then save the rest.

God, I wouldn't even know where to start if I had that much money! Well, first things first--I'd pay off all my debts (credit card, school loans, car, etc) and pay off my parents' debt too. I'd also get my parents and siblings whatever they've been wanting for a while (most likely a new house, cars, etc). I'd want to make them happy and share in my wealth as well I'd also donate a portion to animal shelters and other charities.

After that, I'd probably get my own place, perhaps even ask my friend to come join me I'm sure she wouldn't mind moving to an all expenses paid house with a huge swimming pool, jacuzzi, you name it I'd also love to build up my DVD collection and buy a buttload of clothes (hey, I have my weaknesses).

Next, I'd definitely do some travelling! I'd go to all the places I never could go being the broke college student I am.

Lastly, the rest of it would be saved/invested...haahaa, whatever's left of it

500,000,000

I would go home for a week or two. Then I'd go to Salt Lake City, Utah and visit my Aunt. I'd then go to Missouri and visit two friends. Then the fun would really begin!

I'll travel the US for a year. Then I'll go overseas. Probably London first. New Zealand is a must. Japan, Hawaii, Rome... Hell! I'd go where ever the money will take me!

Then I'd go to school. Pay it all. No loans, no dept, no financial stress. This is important to me.

I would donate at least 35,000 to Americorps.

I'll buy an electric car in which to get around. Whatever is leftover I'll invest.

A toast to the rich and mighty!

After I regain consciousness, I'd pay my credit card bill, give some to charity and family and then put the rest into savings.
