Default Lamont acted like Julio was his boyfriend, LOL

When it came down between Fred and Julio, Lamont chose Julio. Julio was a good person and a good man, but Lamont could have seen Fred's point of view once in a while when they had disputes. The writers could have gave Julio a woman at least in one episode.

Even Fred asked Lamont "Have you Ever seen him out with a woman??".

so, yes, the writers shouldve wrote that into the series.

Fred: "I'm very concerned about Julio."
Lamont: "Why?"
Fred: "I think he may be <makes gay hand gesture>."

The episode with the land dispute, Lamont told Julio about the survey that favored him. It was the right thing to do, but he was so cold to Fred about it...almost as if he enjoyed it.

That is my whole point of this thread, Janice, Thank you!!! He just took Julio's side and everything! First of all, how the hell Julio's property should extend all the way into the Sanford's yard?! Why should he have all that land?! How much land did the Sanfords have?! That was never explained. Lamont plotted against his own father, and that's why I hate his ass! Fred didn't deserve that!

Nothing to do with Julio, but Lamont ruined Fred and the gang's fun in the episode where they're having a party after a funeral. I don't remember all the details, but I recall thinking that Lamont was mean-spirited.

Lamont seemed to take pleasure in sabotaging Fred's fun, plans or whatever.

Oh yeah, I remember that episode real well. There was another episode when Lamont arranged two dates on the same evening to sabbatoge Fred. Lamont was a straight up devil. Fred to me was down to earth and enjoyed life. That grumpiness just came with the stress of his no-good son.
