Joseph's character in Strictly Business movie with Halle Berry, Tommy Davidson, Samuel Jackson was goofy. Tommy said to him, you are straight up whiter than white man LOL. Tommy said that to him because Joseph said why do you act and talk so black hahahahahahahahahaha. I need to check out Joseph's book because i have a problem with ignorant black men who don't like educated black men because ignorant black men think that when you're educated, you're trying to be white. That's the same thing Spike Lee said. Why is being educated a white thing? That's not a white thing. That should be a universal thing because every race should wanna be educated and smart.

I saw Joseph in a recent straight to video movie a few months ago called Getting Played with Vivica Fox, Bill Bellamy, Carmen Electra, Stacey Dash. His character was Vivica's boyfriend but he was cheating on her with a gay black dude LOL. The gay black dude is the guy who was gay in Revenge Of The Nerds and Revenge Of The Nerds 2 movies. His name is Larry B Scott. Getting Played is a good movie.

Please explain this for me, what in the world is 'talking white'? I have heard his voice and he doesn't sound 'white', he sounds educated. Just because a black person sounds educated rather than that ghetto slang, doesn't mean they try to sound white.

Exactly ThinkPink1985. I agree with you 100%. Joseph is a educated man and he talks very well. I liked his character in Strictly Business movie. That's my favorite Halle Berry movie. Only problem i had with him in that movie is that he tried to be cool to impress Halle rather than be himself.

The book is called He Talk Like A White Boy. The reason the book is called that is because Joseph said when he was in the 8th grade, he gave a speech in english class and after his speech was finished, he said a ignorant black girl stood up and said he talk like a white boy. I ordered the book from Amazon.com and i received it in the mail yesterday. I read most of the book today and it's very good. I'm already on page 167 and the book ends at page 232. I suggest ya'll buy this book or try to find it at the library. I read some interesting stuff and some funny stuff. He said that he dated Robin Givens before she became a actress and he said the relationship didn't work out. He said later on after they stopped seeing each other, she married Mike Tyson and she went on the Howard Stern radio show and said that she likes thuggish black guys LOL. Joseph said he was baffled by what she said and he said he wasn't changing who he was so she could like him. I've lost respect for Robin after reading what she said on the Howard Stern show. She's ignorant and a golddigger. Only a stupid woman would marry a ignorant ****** like Mike Tyson so that tells me what she's about. I do like most of her movies but she's not that smart. Joseph also talked about in the book that he tried to fit in with black kids when he was in middle school and high school. He said he tried hard to use slang words and speak ignorant instead of talking proper. He said him and his best friend who went to a private school in a white neighborhood were the only blacks at the school who went to white schools before going to black schools. Joseph didn't go to a private school, his friend did. Anyway Joseph said him and his friend used to say the word nig*a to each other so much during the weekend after the first week of school so they could fit in with the other black ignorant kids LOL. Joseph said after awhile, he stopped using that word and he stopped trying to be somebody he wasn't just so he could fit in with the other kids. He also said he can't stand rap music and he said he tried for a week to listen to rap music to see why so many blacks liked the music. He said the only rappers he likes are MC Hammer, Will Smith, Public Enemy. He said when he tells people that he likes MC Hammer and Will Smith, they tell him that those rappers are soft. He also talked about he's friends with Angela Bassett and he talked about her turning down the role for Monster's Ball movie that Halle Berry is in. He said Angela didn't wanna do the movie because of the explicit sex scenes. The media asked Angela did she have a change of heart about being in the movie when Halle won a oscar for the movie and Angela said no. Good for Angela. I love Angela because she is a strong black woman and she has morals unlike most actors who'll be in any movie or tv show just to get paid.
