... not long ago I heard an instrumental song with limited words. Said words sounded like "Goldfinger! Goldfinger!", to the point of sounding like "Bo figga! Bo figga!" coming from the audience when pronounced. I want to say "Goldfinger" because I heard Shirley Bassey's 1965 hit "Goldfinger" ten years ago right before said instrumental song played.

Can anyone clue me in as to what this instrumental song is?

It sounds like you're describing the Bar-Kays' 1967 hit "Soul Finger".
