I think I would have done great in 57'. Only thing I could see wrong with it is 7 years before Gilligan. Besides that I would have liked being in there during the Eisenhower years.

Back in the early 60's I remember my parents bought a nice house and paid $75 a month for it.

Yeah....$20K bought you a nice house, not just a moderatley priced American car. You get a $20K house now and it's in a bad neighborhood and the roof is caving in.
