Post Along came a Spider

Hey guys! i just saw this movie the other night, it was very good...not as good as the book cause the book had a deeper plot, but despite the acting it was great! Morgan Freeman of course was fab as usual, but Monica Potter did not impress me. She has no acting ability IMO. Totally canned, no expression, didly.

I don't care for her either. I haven't seen the movie yet, I may just wait until it comes out on video, but I'd kind of like to see it.

No, unless it's something that I've been waiting to see. I usually see a movie about 3 times a month, but I haven't been able to see to many lately...must be too hooked on to this site.

I haven't seen too many new things. I was dragged out to see Spy Kids the other day, and that wasn't exactly my idea of spending an entertaining 2 hours. I don't always go to the movies also, because our theaters are 30 minutes away, and it's always busy there.

I think I'm gonna pass on the Spy Kids deal. I still really wanna see Hannibal though. Yea we have a theatre just down the road but it only plays like one movie at a time, so then we have to drive like 20 minutes away. STill though, it's worth it, great theatre!

That's brisk. Have you seen silence of the lambs? I heard that hannibla is more physically scary or disturbing, where as SOTL was more psychologically scary. I also heard that Julianne didnt do much with the character, at least compared to Jodie. I'll have to see for myself though.

Along Came A Spider was a horrible followup to KISS THE GIRLS imo.

Also, Hannibal was decent. Not an instant classic like the first movie was, but if you liked Silence, you should check it out.

you would love Kiss The Girls if you liked Spider. I saw both films in the theater, and KTG was much more satisfying. Ashley Judd was much more convincing as a female lead than Monica Potter was. Also Freeman did more. And the plot twist in that movie is more shocking than the one in Spider.
